The Peace Booth is offering two petitions for 2022.
End Military Impact on Climate Change
Whereas: Planet Earth is imperiled by the rapid advance of global warning and climate change and it is impossible for humans to reverse the impact of global warming without ending war and preparation for war
Whereas: The carbon footprint of the U. S. military industrial complex represents the greatest threat to human survival
Whereas: The 2015 Paris Agreement left cutting military greenhouse gas emissions to the discretion of individual nations, yet the U. S. increased its war expenditures to record highs far outpacing the other nations of the world.
Therefore: We the undersigned call on the U. S. Congress to no longer exempt military greenhouse gas emissions from climate negotiations, and to immediately engage in the de-escalation of U. S. militarism in an effort to save humanity from extinction.

Fully Fund Comprehensive Veterans Health Care
We the undersigned North Carolina residents urge U. S. Senator Thom Tillis to make it a priority to increase federal funding to provide comprehensive medical care for veterans who were exposed to various contaminants, radiation or any conditions that have caused short-term or long-term detrimental health problems while serving our nation.
